Outstanding Group Experience at Brick House Tavern in Ionia We had an absolute blast at Brick House Tavern (314 W Main St, Ionia, MI) with our group of 11, playing pool and soaking up the welcoming vibe. Helen, our server and bartender, was phenomenal, super knowledgeable and helped everyone nail their food picks while guiding us through the cheesecake options. The starters stole the show: fried mushrooms, steak tips, crispy fries, and onion rings were all spot-on for a hearty lunch/afternoon spread. Everything came out hot, fresh, and perfectly portioned for sharing among our large party. The raspberry cheesecake was creamy with vibrant berry flavor, and the pretzel one brought a fun salty-sweet crunch that had us all raving. These desserts capped off a perfect casual outing--must-tries for cheesecake lovers! This spot's got a great atmosphere for groups, with pool tables and friendly service making it a new favorite. We'll be back soon!

We are so grateful to see one of our favorite retired spots in the area take on new ownership. The changes to the atmosphere are enticing with a pool table added to the bar space. We really enjoyed the friendly service and delicious food. The menu options have creative twists, made with wholesome foods that are familiar and enjoyable for all walks of life. Pricing is entirely feasible and respectable; given the times we are all in, my family feels we can still enjoy the privilege of a serviced meal. Located in the old heart of the original downtown area, this is a must stop restaurant for a well made cocktail and delicious food. P.S. Definitely save room to try the caramel apple cheesecake. It was so delicious we nearly devoured it before snapping a photo.

Stopped by last night for a drink and ended up having a great time for hours and hours. Atmosphere is super fun, music was great, and the service was top notch. I can't wait to go back for dinner. A small, friendly bar and grill that exactly defines Ionia.

The service was outstanding, and our server was really nice and had no issues with her at all she kept checking on us, which I loved, and made sure we were satisfied. The restaurant was very clean . The Philly cheese steak I had was delicious, and the bun was perfect and soft and never got soggy, and I loved that .the uncle Jesse wrap my fiance had he said was delicious and the chicken was well seasoned and juicy and tender and wasn't dry .the only down fall he had for the uncle Jesse wrap was that the cheddar cheese was too over powering and that when he took his first bite all he gotten was the cheddar cheese and told the server that they should switch the cheese to Swiss or gouda cheese instead to give it more flavor and she said she will most definitely try it with the cheeses i perfered her and to do a sample for the whole staff and see if they will like it and possibly change the uncle Jesse wrap on the menu and to add more sauce on the wrap as it wasn't enough on the wrap and made it little dry . But overall, I loved the restaurant and will be returning customers. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone who wants to try this new restaurant out. You won't regret it. And they do have the other side was the dining room of the restaurant as it was from lamplight that I loved so much and was happy they kept it that way . The cooks did amazing, and they deserve the praise as they do work hard to make this new restaurant stay running. Update there food is so bland also never has any flavor or seasonings . I tried there chicken and it was super dry and the skin was hard . They need to add seasonings and flavor to there food not everyone likes bland food.

The decision to eat here was last minute, yet not disappointing at all! Every item we ordered was phenomenal and cooked perfectly. The flavors on some of their signature dishes blended well too. We will definitely make the trip to come here again soon!

We went in at an odd hour and were the only people there, so we received very speedy service. We had the lake perch and several of the salads- all were delicious! Will definitely be going back. They had good daily specials too!
